Dunsfold hosts its first Private Tours

First off the block to arrange a Private Tour of our new museum building was the National Transport Trust, which was founded in 1965 (as the Transport Trust) and is the only national body which promotes and encourages the preservation and restoration of Britain's transport heritage in all its forms: road, rail, wings and water. The Dunsfold Collection is proud to be a member. The Trust recognised the importance of the Collection back in 2003 when it awarded our founder, Brian Bashall, a Lifetime Achievement Award.

Our second Private Tour took place today, when we hosted our first ‘Stag Party’ at the Museum, to help celebrate passionate Land Rover fan Dominic’s upcoming marriage. His best man, Tom, contacted us to arrange their visit, and Dominic had no idea where he was going until he spotted Dunsfold church and exclaimed “Dunsfold. There’s a Land Rover collection here!” Dominic, Tom, and their group (pictured) spent a thoroughly enjoyable few hours with us before setting of for lunch in the village.
