It is amazing how many vehicles you have displayed in a small space, and I understand that is just a fraction of the collection. From turning the idea into a reality, the museum probably has the biggest, most wide ranging collection of Land Rover products in the world, and it's a must see for any Land Rover enthusiast!

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. Looking at the exhibits both outside in the car park and inside each of us had our own favourite, and we only saw a small part of the Collection of vehicles and memorabilia! Guess we'll just have to make a return visit!

“On behalf of the Series Sunday group from Cambridgeshire, Essex and Suffolk, that visited Dunsfold on Sunday, I would like to extend a huge thank you.

From the moment we arrived (and we were distracted by the impressive array of Land Rovers in the car park) we were made to feel very welcome.

After delicious coffee and home made cakes, we entered the museum, to be blown away by the model collection. We entered the museum proper and were hugely impressed by the selection of vehicles. We had a little game of ‘which would you most like to drive and which would you most like to take home?’. Suffice to say the Velar scored highly on both counts and also the V8 88inch.

We topped it off with a lovely roast lunch at The Punchbowl Inn at Okewood Hill with plenty more Land Rover chat. The consensus was: we will be back. Kind regards, Greg”

“The Land Rover Life community had been looking forward to our visit for some time and the team at Dunsfold did not disappoint. We were met, upon arrival by the team, with genuine enthusiasm and more importantly coffee and bacon. We all spent time chatting with each other as the group assembled ahead of a welcoming speech about the history of the collection. After that we were let loose to view the vehicles, models and other interesting memorabilia. The Dunsfold team were always at hand, willing to chat and answer any and all of our questions. The time flew by and before we knew it three hours had passed. Our group were still buzzing about the visit when we left and everyone of us thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The museum itself is very nicely set out, with lots to see, it is clear a lot of dedication and effort has gone in it creating something really special. “The opportunity to see the Museum was tremendous! A great pleasure to see you again. I feel the work you are undertaking on the whole project, with research and preservation, is just both so marvellous & inspiring.”

“The Dunsfold Collection is Land Rover history. Land Rover is now a large global brand, but we wanted to learn and experience its history. We wanted something unique, genuine, and true to Land Rover history. Our experience exceeded all expectations. First, the collection is unmatched with unique vehicles and the breadth of models. As a veteran, we particularly enjoyed the military vehicles because those are rare and connect to the military. Second, the setting and experience was authentic, which is set in a former auto shop that is thoughtfully decorated with memorabilia that elevates the vehicles. You could feel the history in the building that surrounds the vehicles. But most importantly, the hospitality is what really made the experience memorable. Our hosts obviously have deep knowledge, but their passion for preserving the history and the stories brought it to life. For a couple of hours, it really felt like we travelled back in history with the Land Rovers themselves.”

The transformation of the facilities make an immediate impression and the way in which it is now possible to appreciate the vehicles and the Land Rover accessories is such a dramatic step forward.  Clearly a huge amount of investment in time and effort has been made. Knowing that only a small percentage of the Collection can be displayed at any one time is another factor that ensures we will return, and we are very proud of the fact that NTT was the first group visit!”
