This Defender 90 was built in 1998 to commemorate 50 years of Land Rover and was displayed around the world at many shows.

A new 90 was taken from the production line, stripped out and reassembled by Land Rover themselves to create a highly-unusual exhibition vehicle. The bulkhead and chassis were re-painted and new unpainted panels were taken from the pressings shop and glued on because it was decided the normal spot weld would spoil the highly polished finish the engineers were looking for.

The vehicle still has zero miles on the lock and we are delighted to have it in the Collection. The only downside is it takes many hours to clean!
