1992 Prototype second-generation P38A Range Rover

Chassis number: J4KA300035

Registration number: Unregistered

Engine type: 4.5 V8 Petrol

Gearbox type: 4 Speed Automatic

Vehicle spec:
This is the oldest second-generation P38A Range Rover to survive from the batch of pre-production prototypes.

It has some very odd features including bumpers, 4.5 engine, wheels, trim and suspension. We believe it was used for heater and interior assessment for the Australian market, hence the markings on the inside of the windscreen. The vehicle also has non-matching colour trim.

We also have the canvas exterior body panels which were fitted to camouflage the vehicle shape and design details.

Surprisingly, the vehicle seems to have covered a very low mileage.
